Despite its flaws, it's still a unique game worth a try. It is nice that's it's all music and sound effects, though. Gorogoa is populated with scholars and dreamers, sat at desks with heavy books before them and turning beautifully illuminated pages, or slumped forward, faces buried in crossed arms as their. I wish it had given some clearer insight, which also might have helped with the puzzle-solving. After I finished the game, I was just left scratching my head. Although it has an interesting vision and story to tell, the story is so vague I didn't really get much out of it. This is our Gorogoa review for Nintendo Switch. Cracking any puzzle in Gorogoa is satisfying, though, whether you merely zoom a panel and carefully align it to another, thereby creating a new path, or overlay a decorative element on a staircase, which suddenly springs to life as a cog in a temporary machine. I was a bit surprised to reach the end when I did. It's also pretty short, which isn't always bad, but I felt like with it's unique and complex puzzle concept, it could have been longer with more puzzles to solve. The puzzles do slowly ramp up in complexity, but the final puzzle was surprisingly straight-forward and easy definitely a let-down to end the game on. Sometimes, I solved a puzzle by logic and actually figuring it out which felt satisfying, but half the time it seemed like I solved it by pure luck of trial and error.
GOROGOA REVIEW HOW TO
You just have to basically figure out how to play on your own.

There are some really clever puzzles, but the game doesn't do a good job of explaining it's mechanics. But at the end of the day, it didn't quite leave me fully satisfied. It's a unique puzzler unlike any I've played before, and I'm glad that I played it and supported the indie developer. It's a It's definitely impressive that this game was essentially the work of one person over many years, with a clear and interesting vision.
